This page is dedicated to fMSX, the portable MSX emulator from Marat Fayzullin. It contains links to other fMSX related sites on the web and a few patches and updates that I made myself.

Arnold Metselaar's X-Terminal drivers for fMSX. They offer extended support for many different X-Server configurations.
Fix for fMSX 2.0b. This fix offers proper 16 BPP (65000 colors) display support and removes a bug in the vdp byte copy commands. You can get 16 BPP support also from Arnold Metselaar's X-terminal drivers.
Patch for fMSX 2.1. This patch fixes a lot of problems with the VDP command set. As a result, SD-SNATCHER will run correctly after applying the patch. It will most probably solve problems with other games as well.
VDP Command Engine 1.0. A complete new VDP Command engine for fMSX. It replaces the above patch. Highlights of this new VDP command engine:
- SD-Snatcher still works ;-)
- Graphical glitches in Aleste Special are gone
- VDP Command timing is correct
- VDP Command emulation runs interleaved with Z80 emulation, resulting in a more stable music playback and in typical graphical effects where you can see how the screen is build-up by slow commands.
